Her condition was a result of multiple organ dysfunction, including failing kidneys. Hemodialysis and later peritoneal dialysis was her new norm. After spending 80 consecutive days in hospital, from death to recovery, she finally got home, however her life forever changed. Angelica was being on dialysis for the past year and a half before she was finally ready to undergo the most important operation of her existence, a kidney transplant. She would receive the donated kidney from her mother. Angelica and mom had an operation that was successful on the 13th of September, 2013 at Emory University Hospital and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston, two hospitals located across from one another. Angelica Hale is pursuing her celebrity dreams from the moment she was born.
